City House
The work of City House inspires hope, trust, and healing through spiritual listening with people on the margins—including those experiencing poverty, addiction, and imprisonment.

City House is a non-profit organization with over 30 active volunteer spiritual directors. We provide our services by partnering with social service agencies; we work with the agency’s clients, providing a spiritual complement to the agency’s own mission. City House offer individual one-on-one sessions, group direction, and organized retreats.

Building a brand for an online retailer, focused on very select output with the goal to expand future product lines, provides unique design challenges. The answer: Develop a highly flexible brand with room to branch into seemingly unrelated industries.

Our team was tasked with identity research, brand guidelines, product photography, integrated advertising, and web design and development.

We have updated the brand as new products come into the line and revisit the user experience as the site has expanded and new needs arise. We've partnered with amazing brands like Asus and Audio Technica to provide progressive highly competitive products. We currently support the brand and it's line of smart watches, mobile phones, tablets, bluetooth speakers and headphones.

I began working with City House in 2014 and have been involved with the organization ever since. I was invited to be apart of the Board of Directors in 2015 with a focus on communication.  I led a shock-free brand update, that freshened the identity for a younger audience, yet was accepted by long-term stakeholders and volunteers. I now give design and brand consulting and help manage upcoming annual reports.
